Oreocereus celsianus

Native location: South America (Bolivia, North Argentina, North Chile, Peru)

Care: November through March the plants may get a winter resting period at temperatures of  6 - 14 °C. During this time the plants should stand in dry soil. In their native place they are well adapted to cool winter conditions. When spending the winter at room temperature, a very bright location should be chosen and watering should be done sparingly.
