Prunus subhirtella Pendula

Generally grows as small tree, occasionally as a large shrub. It can reach 5 m in height. The branches bend downwards, growing even trail shaped. The buds' color is dark pink or crimson. On opening, they become bright pink or white. The blossom lasts from end of March to mid-April.  In our latitudes the Prunus subhirtella Pendula rarely carries fruits.
